MEET AETHOR

One bot. A more connected community.

Aethor is a Discord bot project for communities that want to keep moderation and member support organized. It brings tickets, Modmail and moderation tools together, with a website where your team can configure its server.

Your server sets the rules. Choose your support team, configure the tools you need and decide whether to participate in the global ban list.

For server owners

Configure your server in one place, with access based on your Discord management permissions.

For support teams

Claim tickets, answer Modmail and keep a transcript of each resolved conversation.

For your members

Reach the team through a ticket panel or a private message to the bot.

Your server, your choices

Configure support roles, channels and optional global-ban participation for each server.

A clear responsibility

Claims show who is handling a ticket. Moderation reasons keep decisions understandable.

Support with context

Team conversations, transcripts and member ratings help your team follow each request through.

TOOLS FOR YOUR TEAM

One place for every task.

Protect your server. Connect your team. Give every member a place to be heard.

Moderation

Warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans and message cleanup. With reasons and a clear history.

  • Record reasons for moderation actions
  • Review your server’s moderation history

Modmail

Direct messages to the bot become private team conversations. Replies reach members directly.

  • Members contact the bot in DMs
  • Your team replies from a private Discord channel

Tickets & ratings

Private support channels with claims, conversation archives and ratings after closure.

  • Publish a ticket panel on your server
  • Claim conversations and send closing transcripts
  • Collect feedback after a ticket is closed

Global ban list

Managed by authorized bot administrators. Your server participates only with explicit consent.

  • Server participation is explicitly optional
  • Only authorized bot admins manage the global list
HOW SUPPORT WORKS

Two ways to reach your team.

Server tickets

  1. Open

A member opens a ticket from your server’s ticket panel.

  2. Claim

A team member claims the private channel and handles the request.

  3. Resolve

A closing transcript is delivered to the member and your team.

  4. Review

The member can rate the support after the ticket is closed.

Private Modmail

  1. Message

A member sends Aethor a direct message.

  2. Route

The conversation opens in a private team channel on the selected server.

  3. Reply

Team replies in that channel are delivered to the member in DMs.

  4. Keep context

Internal team notes stay separate from the member-facing conversation.

Connect the right permissions

Use the Discord invite flow to grant the bot its required permissions. Your own Discord management rights determine which server settings you can access.

Set up your server ↗

Before you get started.

Who can manage a server?

You need the required Discord management permissions for that server. Aethor checks access again when you make changes.

How are tickets and Modmail different?

Tickets start from a panel on your server and create private support channels. Modmail starts when a member sends the bot a DM; your team’s replies are delivered back to that member privately.

What happens when a ticket is closed?

The conversation is archived and a transcript is delivered to the member and your team before the ticket channel is deleted. Members can then rate the support they received.

Does my server have to use global bans?

No. Your server must explicitly opt in. The global ban list is managed only by authorized bot administrators.
